Our mine is located in the Jundah region southwest Queensland, Australia. We also like to support our fellow Boulder Opal miners & source opals we know you will love directly from them.

Traceability is important to us, we like our customers to know what area in Queensland, Australia their opal has come from.

If the origin is Jundah then this is an opal from our mine.

No. We do not sell any of the above. All of our opals are natural, solid Australian Boulder Opals.

• However, like with most jewellery we suggest taking it off when showering/washing your hands/swimming etc. Overtime grim/dust etc can build up in between the opal & the setting, this could result in the setting loosening from the opal
• On Moh's gemstone hardness scale opal is 5.5-6.5 out of 10. This is softer than diamonds, emeralds, rubies but harder than pearls. Rough wear & tear can lead to scratching on your opals surface or in extreme circumstances chipping or breakage if dropped onto a hard surface.
• Storing your opal; never place your opals face down as you could cause light scratches over the opals face which will dull the high quality polish/finish
• Our suggestion is just like with any item of value & importance treat the opal with care so your one of a kind, millions of years old opal will continue to last for many more life times.
